The Diarrhea Debacle
An unforgettable scene in the 2011 hit comedy Bridesmaids features a character succumbing to the disastrous effects of food poisoning while wearing an expensive wedding dress in the middle of a public street. An unfortunate individual named Chas Cox found himself in a similar situation. In May 2015, he was forced to evacuate his bowels at a crosswalk in the English city of Glastonbury. While he wasn’t wearing a wedding dress at the time, his bowel movement was so explosive that some of his poo bounced off the pavement and hit a five-year-old child that was walking nearby. Cox was later arrested and accused of violating local public decency ordinances. He pled not guilty during an arraignment, telling court officials that he had no other choice and certainly wasn’t aiming for the kid. He’s currently out on bail and is slated to stand trial over these asinine allegations in August.
