How to Defeat Paranormal Menace

June 24, 2015

There are a lot of movies and TV shows about supernatural creatures. But do you know the proper way to defeat vampires, werewolves, witches, witches, and zombies (provided they’re real)?

Vampires

They are “creatures of the night,” literally. From Dracula to Buffy the Vampire Slayer to True Blood, the threat of sunlight leads to vampire anxiety because just a few moments of being exposed to direct sunlight will kill a vampire. It can also maim them—any part of a vampire that receives sunlight will be severely burned. But if you encounter one at night—far more likely because that’s when vampires are the most active—stab it through the heart with a wooden stake.

How to Kill a Vampire

Werewolves

The most popular and effective way to kill this man-wolf hybrid triggered into a monster state by a full moon is with a silver bullet. No alloys—the bullet must be forged from pure silver. Also, it has to be shot directly into the werewolf’s heart. While the bullet is the most effective, because it can be fired at the attacking werewolf from a relatively safe distance, reportedly any pure silver stabbed into the heart of a werewolf will end its life.

Witches

Burning WitchesThe Wizard of Oz has been misinforming people on how to kill a witch for more than 70 years now—but throwing a bucket of water on one will absolutely not kill a witch. The opposite of drowning—burning—is said to turn a witch into instant ash. Another, more obscure method: shoot the witch with crossed bullets, which are bullets with a Christian cross etched into them.

Zombies

A zombie is undead, meaning that it is devoid of human life, but the zombie disease lives in its brain, falsely reanimating the creature that ought to be dead. Because the brain is the center of the zombie’s flesh-eating impulses, destroy the brain by any means you’ve got: bullet, axe, sword, or knife.
