Your Saturday Google Moment [updated]

December 17, 2011

If you put just the word “no” into the Great Google Machine (with a space after it), it will prompt you to fill in “No Fear Shakespeare.” (This place, apparently.)

We find this odd. And funny. And if only we could go back in time and tell Shakespeare about his place on Google… (And “No chinz” is pretty dang funny too.)

This has been “Your Saturday Google Moment.”

Update: Apparently the prompts are different for different people (thank you commenter Christina). We did not know this! (And does that mean that our “fear shakespeare” internet fetish has been exposed?)

********************************************************

The UJBR HOLIDAY SALE! – 30% off all books – goes through December.

And oh yeah: Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader eBooks and new and improved mobile app just became available.

actually this is one true for the person who wrote this article. because google is such a personable site this will be different for everyone. i.e. when i typed in no followed by a space i get nofear.com

I realize that, just saying mine weren’t as fun. Well, except getting a suggestion for “no shave November”. lol

Go to Google, type in “let it snow”, then hit Search. Your screen will start snowing and eventually frost over. Google can be so much fun!
