Yet another Comic-Con is behind us. The last four days in San Diego have been filled with costumes, good and bad, and a few celebrity sightings. Below are some images of the fantastic convention that brought in 125,000 fans this year. First some movie news from the Con.
Marvel announced its upcoming movies:
- Iron Man 3, hitting theaters on May 3rd, 2013
- Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013)
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier (April 4, 2014)
- Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014)
- Ant-Man, directed by Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim fame – date TBA
- Presumably these will all lead up to Avengers 2 – 2015?
And Warner Brothers previewed footage from next summer’s Superman: The Man of Steel and this winter’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (part 2, called The Hobbit: There and Back Again, comes out in late 2013).
