Don’t Use Your McDonald’s Shrek Drinking Glasses!

June 4, 2010

McDonald’s has issued a recall of 13.4 million Shrek drinking glasses—they contain dangerous levels of the heavy metal cadmium. This is in both the U.S. and Canada.

This has been a Public Service Announcement from the BRI.

Cadmium! who cares about cadmium, my kid probably won’t be hurt at all from the chemical, I’m going to go put a pair on my kid right now!

You’re an idiot to think that’s a good idea. Cadmium is just above mercury on the periodic table, and cadmium can cause brain damage. So go ahead and give your kid a toxin-laden drinking glass. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
